Offerings / e-Offerings
At the present time LME accepts online donations via credit or debit card and by direct bank transfer, also called Automated Clearing House (ACH) transfer.
Those who wish to give via credit or debit card can give through EFT Corporation (formerly referred to as Donation-Net). Those who hold a Capital One credit card can give through Capital One's No Hassle Giving Site. Both one-time and recurring donations can be given through these two websites.
NEW: One-time donations can be given also through PayPal via a PayPal account or a credit or debit card.
A pocessing fee of between 2.2% and 2.9% will be charged for donations given by credit or debit card. Significantly higher fees will be charged for credit or debit cards issued by banks outside the USA. No processing fee is charged for donations given through Capital One's No Hassle Giving Site provided that a Capital One credit card is used to make the donation (in this case, 100% of your donation goes to LME).
One-time and recurring donations by ACH transfer can be given through EFT Corporation only. This kind of donation transfers funds directly from your checking or savings account to LME. A small transaction fee of under $0.50 is charged regardless of the amount donated. For larger donations, to minimize the processing fees, we recommend that you consider giving through ACH. Note: For ACH transactions, the originating bank must be in the USA.
